This is the Empire State Building in New York!

Another New York symbol that people know is the 

Statue 

of Liberty!! This statue in my picture was just a display at the Macy's store.  The real statue is on Liberty Island.

This was the ferry boat ride in New York Harbor.  You can see the Statue of Liberty from the boat.  But, you can also go to the island and see it up close too.

Macy's Department Store is the

biggest store I have ever seen.

I think there were seven or eight levels. 

We rode the subway everywhere (underground train)!  You can get places quicker that way.  The streets are crowded with cars!

Times Square is another famous place in New York City.  There are HUGE tv screens on the corners of buildings that have advertisements on them.  There are lots of shops too (the M&M candy shop was my favorite).  It's hard to see everything because there are so many lights, and honking horns, and people!  We stayed close to Grandma or mom.

Bryant Park was fun.

It was in the middle of the city.  You can juggle, play games, eat, or just hang out there. You don't have to bring your own games or juggling balls- they have it all there!

If you get hungry there are so many food trucks in the city.  There are ice cream trucks in the summer too!
